Founded on May 17, 1989 by António Almeida, passionate about the snooker and pool modalities, the Snooker Águia Club was born in the place where the mythical brewery “Águia d’Ouro” worked.

The Snooker Águia Club has distinguished itself since its opening, due to the modernity and exclusivity it gave its customers access to the space, privileging them with a card, to open the door and access the Club in addition to discounts. It was the first “sports bar” in the Portuguese capital, as understood in the 21st century concept.

It is a space designed in the image of the famous English pubs, having served as a base and inspiration, the stay in London of its founder in the years 1986 and 1987.

In 2015 the club replaced «Águia» with «Lisboa» on his name as a tribute to the Capital and City that has hosted this Club for over thirty years.

Suitable for snooker and pool lovers, but also for those who want to taste the best of the classic gastronomy of Portuguese and international breweries, quietly drink a glass to the sound of good ambient music or watch great sports shows through multiple LCD's and a giant screen. you have.

In this space, you can enjoy 10 pool tables (4 by pool, 4 by Portuguese pool and 2 by snooker), as well as a restaurant and bar with a capacity for 60 seats, divided into three distinct areas: the central catering area (along to the bar), the gallery and the “Sala da Lareira” and, the space can also be converted into a private area to watch games, for a restricted group by prior reservation.
